Our First Dance....
I've wanted to post this for a while, but had no way to extract it from our DVD. Fortunately for me, our neighbor is a wiz when it comes to this type of stuff! Thanks GP for making it possible to share this!
At the tender age of 23, I cancelled my upcoming wedding to my college sweetheart just 6 weeks before the big day. At the time, it was a heart wrenching decision, but looking back, it was the best decision I ever made. That experience became a very pivotal moment in my life... I enjoyed most of my twenties dating and discovering my authentic self. I kissed alot of frogs, had my heart broken, and broke a few hearts myself. On a fateful trip to the grocery store, I met and fell in love with my dream guy… and married him in August 2008. We had our first child in November 2009. After the birth of our daughter, I decided to leave behind the lucrative sales career that I have had for the past 11 years. I traded my designer suits, expense account and income for a life of diapers, drool and playdates… and I have never regretted my decision. My new boss is pretty demanding, the hours are lousy and there is no vacation time, but I love every... single... second of it. Welcome to my world of living simply, well, and appreciating all the little things in life.
