Hello. My name is Simply Married and I have an addiction to Sephora....
It seems like whenever I'm in Sephora my handle on this past confession goes out the window.....
Case in point... Last night my super fab neighbor, RP, and I discovered that we were the last two people on Earth who had yet to see Bride Wars. So we left the hubbies at home and checked it out - super cute! When the movie ended we saw that we had 20 minutes left till the stores closed in which we hightailed it over to Sephora (RP is a makeup junkie just like me... talk about enabling...). I went in for just one thing.... and walked out with 4 items and $144 less in my bank account.
Not surprised...
Makeup has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories was getting into my mom's "good makeup" and playing around. Even at a young age I knew what the good stuff was and as far as I was concerned, the Strawberry Shortcake pretend makeup could suck it... This three year old wanted only the best and my mom's Estee Lauder was the Holy Grail as far was I was concerned. Those who have known me for a while know that I had wanted to be a make-up artist and move to California to make it big.... Except that didn't go over so well with mom and dad. I had no choice.... College it was. It all worked out for me and, today, I have a great career, completely unrelated to cosmetics, but it affords me to drop $144+ at Sephora a few times a year. Here's the way I see it... If my path in life thus far didn't happen exactly the way it did, I would have never met my husband, JG, who is the love of my life (yes... even more than Sephora)! He accepts the pent up make-up artist inside me and puts up with the extensive makeup brush collection in the bathroom, the face creams, masks, and serums in the medicine cabinet, and the huge tackle box of makeup in our (tiny) hall closet.... Not to mention the hours on end that his wife spends at Sephora. Thanks JG!

Hi Tracy! I absolutely LOVE sephora too! If I have a long break in between meetings in Beachwood, sometimes I secretly go into Sephora and refresh all of my makeup with their test stuff! Jimmy acts the exact same way as JG when we go in there. It's still a running joke from 2 years ago how much "material" they gave me when I bought a gift card - a metal case, red tissue paper, ribbon and a bag, as well as a card. haha!
Val- Those people know how to package stuff don't they? I just love that store!
